Doug E. Fresh $3.5 Million In The Hole

According to the New York Post, Fresh is behind on three mortgages on some Harlem property and has about $60,000 in credit card debt.

Doug E. Fresh $3.5 Million In The HoleWith each passing day, the news of the poor economy seems to be spreading to those who would seem to be unaffected. First, there were rumors of Fantasia losing her home, now hip hop icon Doug E. Fresh has reportedly fallen behind in over $3.5 million in payments to multiple banks.

According to the New York Post, Fresh is behind on three mortgages on some Harlem property and has about $60,000 in credit card debt.

He is also facing a $367,000 tax lien and over $$40,000 owed to a New York tax collector. In addition to those financial troubles, the “human beat box” also had a foreclosure suit in August for a $1.73 million debt.

At press time,  there was no sign of any response from Fresh regarding his alleged money issues.
