Model: Jessy Fisher aka Jazzebel

Where did you get the name Jazzebel?

Well my nickname was jazz, b/c everybody thought i was a lil “jazzy” but when deciding the name “Jazzebel” my friend Persise ( who i worked with on a calendar called “whip appeal”)  helped me come up with it one day in his office. then i looked up the meaning…and thought to my self…quite controversial, i love it!!

How did you get into modeling?

I’ve always had a passion for it and i was always told i was very photogenic. so when i came to atl in 2004 i met a guy named charles who owned a bunch of sneaker stores in atlanta. He was putting together a calendar called “all flavors” and asked if id shoot for it…..first shoot, first experience…i fell in love with modeling….and never turned bak!!!

How was the transition of moving from Michigan to ATL?

When i moved to atlanta it was sept 1st 2004, fresh out of highschool, and i had just turned 18. my brother had passed away (due to cancer) 3 months prior. my life was a 360. i had no idea what i was gonna do. i moved down here with a friend who eventually moved back b/c she couldnt maintain. i was enrolled in school, but later found out i didnt have enough loans/grants to go. (pre-recession) i dont come from alot of money so real life kicked in right away! i struggled for a while. 2 full time jobs w/ no car, no family and i didnt no anyone…..my drive to succeed was crazy!!! i would never change it for the world….michagan raised me, but atlanta made me!!!

What physical feature of yours do you like most?

My eyes!!! they change sometimes….blue, green, gray.

I would have to guess the same thing….thats the first thing i get compliments on.

What do you look for in a partner?

Conversation, loyalty and friendship!!! honesty would be one but i already know everyone lies..lol..i like to be open, with nothing to hide. i want him to be trustworthy!

What do you think of Solange’s new haircut?

You know i dont judge anybody but my initial thought was amber rose…. short cut with funky glasses. but i read on mto that she had cut her hair way back when she was pregnant?!?! (giving her the benefit of the doubt) but then why would you do it again when everybody else is??? im a little uncertain but i guess what ever “floats ur boat” but then agian dont let it sink either!

If you could do anything in the world what would that be?

I’m going to give two answers…one is religeous so i dont want to offend any of your readers….

1.) I would cure cancer!!….that shit is no joke. i know first hand how devistating and uplifting the disease can be.

2.) I’m a very spiritual person. and nothing has touched me more than when i found out that this local pastor took him and 10 people to get baptised in the jordan river….i mean wow!!! thats just incredible….

What are your future aspirations in the entertainment industry?

I dream of being an full time actress and part time model….but i just want to help females without the proper guidence to find a way! i have a drive like no other to be successful and if i knew then, what i knew now, my life would be so far ahead of the game it would be crazy..lol….but i just want to positivley influence young females….whether it be a foundation or my own womens center. i just want to make a impact!!
